My husband and I are so excited for this news! ‘Three Sheets,’ an “international travelogue/pub-crawl television series” hosted by comedian Zane Lamprey, has been rescued from the network graveyard by Fine Living Network.

Originally airing on MOJO HD (which was only available via certain cable and satellite providers), Three Sheets was dropped last December when MOJO itself was canceled.
The irreverent 30-minute program featured Lamprey jetting around the globe, settling in everything from hole-in-the-wall pubs and taverns to swanky wine bars to beach-side huts. He starts out with a quick lesson about the area he’s in and what drink they’re best known for, and usually gives a quick overview of the specific beverage-making process. He then eats the local food and engages in local drinking customs with the residents.
The next morning usually involves a kind of wrap-up of the episode when Zane learns and partakes in a hangover cure for what’s certainly ailing him.
The show, which has three seasons under its belt, is actually pretty educational (well, for adults anyway!), and entertaining. Zane manages to stay just above the frat-boy humor and antics, which is saying a lot considering that’s the show’s target audience! (He can also, apparently, say “I’m buying” in more than 37 languages.)
“We are happy to add the hilarious and knowledgeable Zane Lamprey to our talent roster,” said Chad Youngblood, General Manager of FLN. “And we are particularly pleased to be the new home of the cult favorite, ‘Three Sheets,’ which will add nicely to our growing line-up of cocktail shows.”
Zane most recently tried his hand at a tamer television venture on Food Network’s “Have Fork, Will Travel,” wherein he traveled the globe trying various foods and learning about local customs and food etiquette. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to have worked out, and there haven’t been any new episodes since 2008’s one season.
New episodes of Three Sheets will begin airing on Fine Living Network on July 20th. In the new season, Zane will be visiting New Zealand, Tanzania, Lithuania, St. Martin, and Cape Town. Be sure to check your cable or satellite listings for air times!
