Thumbs Up For Ventura Solar Meters

Officials of Ventura County in California have decided that it would be best if they would be using parking meters in their community. And these parking meters would not be just ordinary meters. These would be solar powered. And yes, they do accept credit cards. Just think about it, such meters would be able to help much the community.

Neal Andrews is one of the members of the city’s council and he shared, “The idea of putting meters down there and creating another impediment makes absolutely no sense to me.” That may be one of the downsides however if you do think much about it, despite only a few using the meters, the money that the city would be able to get would greatly help the city. Aside from that, just think that the parking meters would not be using any power from the grid. Everything would be coming from the sun so it would be double benefits for the city.
