Thursday Musings

I just had my third acupuncture appointment for my vicious itching on my left shoulder. I think I should just go for my appointments to get a good nap. I always doze off and the time just zips by.

I think the acupuncture has really benefited me. The itch, although still present from time to time, is nowhere as severe or as constant as it has been. I go back in two weeks now, so we’ll see if that extra week between appointments makes a difference.

It’s been an achy week or two for me. My back has been hurting but that, thankfully, has eased off. Last night though, my neck got so tight and painful, I wanted to cry. And it was one of those things that had no rhyme or reason to it. Oh well, it’s easing off now.

I did find that my joints are a lot less painful this week. Sadly, my 9-year-old greyhound can’t say the same. She has severe (and I mean severe) arthritis in her hind leg from an old break. I brought her to the vet because the original anti-inflammatories we were giving her just wasn’t doing anything so we are trying her on something else. The difference is astounding. She’s back to her playful self and I can see that she is putting weight on her leg again. Poor thing.
