In keeping with the Christmas in July theme, I’ll name recipes quilters might enjoy trying. You don’t have to wait until December to stir and sample. Try them out at your next quilting get together and have a Christmas in July experience.
Some of these are festive; others are more ordinary but will serve as your basic dish to be surrounded by holiday fare at dinners, buffets, and in between snacking. (If you’d like a copy of a particular recipe, leave a message in the comments and I’ll e-mail it to you.)
- Razzle Dazzle for snacking
- Holiday Pie
- Double Batch Brownies
- Hermits, an old-fashioned recipe
- Peanut Butter Rice Krisps for snacking and gift giving
- Fabulous Fudge
- Dill Weed Dip when you’re entertaining
- Swiss Steak, quick to make
- Party Chicken for festive meals and buffets
- Marinade for Chicken
- Squash Muffins
- Quick Anadama Bread
- Beef Stroganoff
What are some of the recipes you prepare for holiday meals and entertaining?
