Tip of the Day #20

If you’re anything like me, your email inbox gets real full, real fast. Usually when I read an email that needs a reply, I don’t reply to it right then. I try to do a lump of emails all at the same time. Email can be a BIG time waster.
Here’s a quick tip that helps those emails not get buried. Create a “Needs reply” folder and right after you have read it, move it over to the folder. Then when it’s time to reply to some emails, all you have to do is head to that folder. This keeps you from digging through those emails and also from forgetting to reply.

What a simple solution to such a PITA problem! I get so many e-mails every day that sometimes it just leaves me feeling overwhelmed. I think using this method will help me keep the inbox clutter down. :]

@Kristen – When I thought of the needs reply idea, it was a light bulb moment for me. One of those, “Why didn’t I think of this earlier” ideas.
It has definitely helped me not get too buried with emails.
