Tip of the Day #25/Love Your Loved Ones

logo designThis isn’t a tip of the day at all really, but more of a shout out. As I woke up this morning to face the real world again of fixing lunches, getting kids to school, doing laundry, sweeping floors, etc., I was dreading it in a way. I’m still just not myself.

After I got home from taking my little one to pre-school I realized something, I didn’t really have that much to do because I have the greatest husband in the world. It’s true. I just said it. He’s the best. While my butt was in bed for 3 days he kept this house running. He swept, vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen, did the laundry, helped my daughter do a Social Studies project (that was NO easy task), fixed lunches, got kids to school, went to small group, got kids ready for bed, entertained our high maintenance 3 year old (that is really NO easy task) and the list goes on and on and on.

So please, leave my hubby a comment below telling him how awesome he is. :)

So my tip of the day is…Love Your Loved Ones and when they do something good or great, tell them so.

Oh, also…I received a plant from my friend Shauna (it’s beautiful), an adorable card from my small group, calls from Vickie (I’m still alive!) and get better email and forum wishes from my b5 friends. Don’t send out a cyber search party Jennifer….here I am! :)

It feels SO good to be loved. Man, maybe I should get incredibly sick more often. Just kidding honey. ;)

That is awesome. I write a blog that is just for my husband. It is public but I don’t talk about anything but him. I try to write in it every day, although sometimes life gets hectic and I miss. He has been my knight in shining armor for 28 years.
I am glad he is not the only one.
So, Mr. Julie’s husband…Great job! We need more men like you and my dh to lead and make strong families!

That is a great idea Marye. I agree, we need more men like ours. I don’t know what I’d do with out him…and to think of a few of the guys I almost considered marrying. oy!
