Tip of the Day #39 - Get Rid of Those Extra Pics

Before digital cameras, our junk drawers and boxes were full of film that needed developed and pictures that needed a scrapbook. Now we just upload pictures to our computer with one click, which means our computers are full of photos now.
The great thing about digital cameras is that you can delete the photos you don’t want before they even hit your hard drive. So my tip for the day is - Get rid of those pictures you don’t want before you upload them. It will cut down on your computer clutter and your computer will love you for that.
Good idea. I always mean to do that but take the easy way, which in the long run, is the hard way.
This is on my to do list, but it just hasn’t gotten to done yet. I love to take pictures, so I have a ton I need to go through.

I’ve been doing better with the photos lately. I created folders for each year and have been sorting the photos into the correct computer folder. I’ve been deleting some too. Now I need to burn some copies on cd for the family.
My problem is getting the photos printed out and in albums. I have major catching up to do. It’s a little overwhelming.
