What more, in your case, you weren't even conducting a sale when they still decided on contacting you. I have a similar story to share too, one during purchasing our cot & stroller. Basically the salesguy was paying us the utmost attention demo-ing the features of the product(s), that ultimately led us to buy from him. I have linked back from my site to this post.
