Today’s the day – I’m going to make an appointment for acupuncture

There – I’ve put it in writing so I have to do it, right? smile_wink

Why am I nervous about it? Well, there’s the matter of having needles stuck into me by my choice – makes me a little unsure of things. I do know the basics of acupuncture and how it works. I do believe that certain methods that have been around for as many years as acupuncture has must have some merit. So it’s not that I’m afraid of the actual treatment.

I think my fear is more of not knowing if I’m going to someone who is doing it right – who will help me rather than do nothing at all, or even worse, hurt me.

I also want to keep my resolution about going to get more massages for my back, but I’m not too sure about introducing too many manipulations to my body at the same time. I think it’s wiser to just do one at a time for now. And, of course, there is the matter of my wallet.

So, now that this is in writing for all to see, if I forget to follow through, I’ll see the post myself and have to do it. Stay tuned….

I can’t wait to hear all about your experience.
Hopefully your acupuncturist is as wonderful as mine :)
