Tollhouse Pie

Murphy’s restaurant regulars also have learned to save room for Murphy’s famous Tollhouse Pie, a decadent combination of cookie batter with white and dark chocolate chips, Oreo-walnut crust and vanilla ice cream. For those who just can’t get enough of this sweet treat, it is also available for purchase to take home by the slice or entire pie in the bakery.
Tollhouse Pie
Yields: 1 pie
Crust Ingredients:
½ lb. Oreo cookie crumbs
4 tablespoons melted butter
Method:
Combine the above for the crust in 8″ pie pan.
Pie Filling Ingredients:
4.8 ounces light brown sugar
1.6 ounces sugar
3 ounces flour
2 ½ eggs
3 ounces melted butter (6 Tbsp.)
3 ounces walnuts
3 ounces dark chocolate chunks
3 ounces white chocolate chunks
Method:
Mix both sugars and flour.
Add eggs.
Mix.
Add melted butter.
Add nuts and chocolate.
Bake at 300 for about 1 ½ to 2 hours or until light brown.
