I haven’t given you an heirloom tomato update for a while. Not much has been happening yet, at least not many ripe tomatoes. We’ve had unseasonably cool weather here this summer, and I think that’s slowed down my tomatoes (today the high temperature was 68`).
I did have two red ripe tomatoes about a week ago, but a tomato worm ate half of one, and I ate the other one before I thought to take a photo.

I do have quite a few blooms, and green tomatoes going on.

The Roma tomatoes are going crazy with little green tomatoes. I feel some sauce making coming up in my future!

These are the Green Zebra tomatoes I planted, can’t wait to taste these. They’re supposed to have a sweet citrus taste.

I’m still fascinated by the Blueberry Tomatoes. Some of the leaves are a deep blue, and the tomatoes are blue. I can’t wait to taste these too.

My favorite plant is this “Angora” tomato. It’s leaves are fuzzy and a blue green color. I think I’m just fascinated with it because it looks so different from the rest. It can’t be because it’s a great producer. I think it’s the smallest tomato plant I have at this point, and so far it’s only blooming, no tomatoes yet.

I can’t wait to taste all the different tomato varieties, and of course take a few photos of all the different colored tomatoes.
