As to breastfeeding it has been proven time and time again that the breast is best for a babies body, immune system and growth. When I say that it should be illegal to do anything else I am saying it in jest.

In a perfect world all mothers would breastfeed because they care about what is best for their child, not what is most convenient for them. In a perfect world food would be real and not GMOs and not filled with crap additives.
In a perfect world greed would be nonexistent. In a perfect world we’d give third world countries clean water and a place to defecate without it going into their drinking water and the same water they bathe in. No, let’s not worry about water, let’s shoot them up with toxic chemicals and call it progress. Then when they actually get polio from the polio vaccine we can say “see, it’s still around. Look they have polio and it’s only and airplane ride away.”

I’m saying that “autism” is something created (i.e. described, indexed and named) by humans. Therefore it is open to mistakes, misdiagonsis and propoganda.

Also, it has NOT always been with us, that is brainwashing at it’s finest.

As to the chemicals in vaccines:
Are you telling me that you take the trouble to buy organic apples but you don’t mind having aluminum, chicken embryos, simian viruses, mercury, aborted fetuses, animal DNA and various other ingredients in your vaccines?

That makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Yes, ma’am. Let’s do that. I would rather my child have a case of measles any day than a life time of RA.
I would rather my child (who just got over the flu) (BFD) have any of the above conditions save small pox than to have autism, arthritis or diabetes any dang day.

As to smallpox, it was spread and spread again by bed bugs and filth. Do you live in filth? I don’t. I suggest we look around us and realize that we no longer live in 1850s and act accordingly.

The books I read are hardly PR books. In fact, if anything could be called a PR book it would be books like “Vaccine” or the one on immunity that are both written from a pro-vaccine slant. Have you even read those? Do you know the numbers of children who were actually dying?

Just one set of numbers for you:
Measles at its worst affected, supposedly 4 MILLION Americans – AT ITs WORST – and out of those supposedly 500 died.

We have more than triple that amount of injuries reported to VAERS from vaccines in life long injury and/or death in 6 months time. Thanks, but I’ll continue to take my chances with Measles, which, in a healthy child is nothing more than a nuisance.

Do you really feel it correct to refer to us parents who are raising autistic children, or autistic individuals themselves, as “arm chair critics?” We are living day in and day out with autism. And, you are sorely mistaken if you think that we, we “arm chair critics” are not discussing ideas and trying to make real change. We are the only ones speaking out about the lack of public services (especially for adult autistics), the issues our children face in schools, the harsh realities of a society unwilling to accept autistic individuals, and the ongoing civil and human rights abuses that autistics experience.

As far as your suggestions. I am all for removing chemicals etc. We eat mostly organic, and natural foods. We attempt to be as green as possible in all areas of our life. I think it’s a good idea.

However, getting rid of vaccines–I’m sorry, but that idea only goes to show how ignorant those who feel Kirby speaks the gospel are. Yes, let’s bring back measles, mumps, whooping cough, and maybe even polio and small pox for good measure. Let’s not protect children from the flu or meningitis. Let’s have outbreaks and have thousands upon thousands of children die each year from thee diseases, thousands and thousands more suffer long-term effects from those diseases.

Your other suggestion, “Let’s make breastfeeding the only legal way to feed your newborn baby,” that sounds a lot like fascism to me. Which I guess makes me understand further why you would not want to even attempt to accept autistics (and perhaps anyone else who is not just like you). That is downright frightening. I will add, what do you think of the many autistic children who were in fact breastfed? Or for those autistic individuals who were not vaccinated?

And, for the record, no doctor “created” Autism. That is, unless that’s a new conspiracy going around these days. Autism has always existed, and certainly is well-documented prior to regular use of vaccines. Now, there were several physicians who (separately) identified groups of individuals with certain subsets of features, and named what they were observing (i.e. Autism, Apserger’s, CDD, Rett, etc.). But, you make it sound like some doc basically invented “Autism,” in the same vein that people feel the government is purposely “poisoning” our children via vaccines. Ludicrous!

Really? Common sense, one would think, should lead someone to read and understand real science, and educate themselves on causation and correlation, and on the risks of contagious diseases. Personally, I would never base all of my beliefs on some PR guy’s book.

Who created Austism in the first place? A person, likely a doctor, then subcases were added, then levels of austism were added, sub-disagnosis were added.

Life changes folks, if this “disorder” is a part and parcel of autism that should be a GOOD thing not something to poo-poo.

Why, or WHY do we continue to have so many arm chair critics and no real discourse on what to do to change our lives.

For starters let’s remove chemicals from baby formula. Let’s remove vaccines. Let’s remove High Fructose Corn Syrup and make crap food illegal. Let’s hold the farming conglomerates to stop polluting our earth with GMO foods and pesticides. Let’s make breastfeeding the only legal way to feed your newborn baby and you’ll see austism and like “conditions” stop to almost disappear.
