I found a great list of ten snacks that are good for you. Eating small meals will raise your metabolism and give you energy!
TOP 10 HEALTHY SNACKS
- Trail mix with walnuts, almonds, dried apricots, roasted soybeans, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins and dried unsweetened blueberries.
- Tropical fruit smoothie popsicles.
- Peanut butter, chocolate soymilk and banana smoothie — see site for recipe.
- Homemade oatmeal muffin with blueberries and mashed banana.
- Raw veggies and kale pesto dip. Yummy recipe on this site.
- Energy/snack bars. (My favorites are the Atkins chocolate/peanut butter bars)
- Tomato juice or grapefruit.
- Fruit kebab with yogurt dip.
- Wasa crackers with almond butter and raisins.
- Sliced strawberries.
