Hmm. I thought classic meant, well, you know, classic.

As one of four books about Hanukkah on the list, it’s the one that I have never heard of. In my life. Have you?

As it turns out, the 1994 book is a Caldecott Book Winner. It’s also quite popular on Jewish feminist sites. Who knew?
