Travelling Journals

If you’ve heard or read anything about the 1000 Journals project then you might be interested to know that many others are inspired by the idea. I received a journal in the mail today. This is from a community of online journal writers who wanted to recreate something like what is happening at 1000 Journals.

While I’m suitably intimidated by the entries already created by the other members I am really in awe of the journal itself. The only clue to its origin is the word Paperchase inside the back cover. I love the gap in the spiral binding where my hand snuggly fits to make holding the journal comfortable and not a juggling act.

Inside the paper is thick and strong and just begs me to glue and paint and play. I’ll take a photo to show you in the next few days. Meanwhile I’m leaving my imagination to ponder what I’ll do with those pages for now.
