Treating cancer pain in children

August 21, 2008 by Marijke Durning, RN

When children have pain, it takes different approaches and techniques to help manage that pain. A lot has been done in the field of cancer pain management in children, but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. Hopefully, for our children, this progress will come sooner than later.

The Texas Children’s Cancer Center has a downloadable, PDF document called Pain Management In Children with Cancer Handbook. The entire site provides you with a wealth of information on pain.
