Trunk or Treat

Here’s the special Thursday-After-Halloween How-To post I promised.

The above pictures are some decorating (junk-orating) I used to spiff up my car’s trunk for our church’s Halloween “Trunk or Treat.”

The ghosts are just pieces of what our couch came in when we bought it–sort of a cheeseclothy sort of stuff.  The web is made from ordinary yarn, and the spider is actually an old sock I divided with wire, and gave some wire legs (the same old sock in my “Darn Lightbulb” post from a few days ago).

The effect was pretty good with the light from the trunk shining through the couch cover ghosts!

I hope your spooks and gouls took in a load of sweet stuff!  Let me know what you all junk-orated with this Halloween!
