tutorial of the day: woven heart bag for Valentine’s Day

I’ve been a busy crafter in my studio this morning and have created a new free tutorial for you all!
I’ve been making these woven heart bags since I was child and wanted to share them. They’re a fun way to package up little gifts and trinkets – and of course, if you change the colors, it will work for any season. To see the whole tutorial, just click on the photo

Very pretty. I look forward to the tutorial. A friend is making a similar-looking heart for me. She is using pin weaving (a.k.a. bias tape weaving). Is this done with the same technique?

Actually Eileen, the tutorial is done – you just need to click on the photo of the heart to view it. I don’t believe this is the same kind of weaving – I’ve done pin board weaving before and this is definitely not the same. The heart is actually just woven by hand, no looms necessary
