TV Nanny Gets Death Threats

Claire Verity, 41, has been slammed by parents and charities for her strict childcare methods since appearing on Channel 4’s Bringing Up Baby.

During the series, she advised parents to make babies sleep in a separate room from them and avoid cuddling them.

More than 250 viewers have since complained to TV regulators about her methods.

Yesterday, Daisy Goodwin, producer of Bringing Up Baby, admitted Verity had received death threats and is spat at in the street.

I’m thinking death threats are just a bit too extreme. Why on earth would cuddling mom’s want to go to such extremes? It’s as simple as turning off the telly people!

Just because it’s her way doesn’t mean it has to be your way.

I just don’t get why some people have to take everything to such an extreme.
