Tweeting While in Labor

Twitter has changed the way we live – let’s face it. Athletes tweet during games. People tweet about random and sometimes personal stuff that they would otherwise have kept to themselves. Now the wife of Twitter CEO Evan Williams has been tweeting during her recent labor. She wrote in one tweet:

“Dear Twitter, My water broke. It wasn’t like Charlotte in Sex and the City.”
Williams has more than 14,000 following her.
But it’s not just the Twitter CEO that’s tweeting during labor. Other moms have done it as well. Some do it to update their family. Others do it just because they get used to tweeting about random thoughts and think nothing of it.
Like many new advances in technology, I’m not sure how I feel about this. If it’s okay to tweet during labor, what about class? Church? Having sex? Is there any sacred area left?
