Two Hydro Power Projects From Myanmar & China

Water takes up most of the entire world and so it is just wise for countries to actually hone it and use it as a source of clean energy.

Asian countries China and Myanmar think so and both have already agreed to actually creating and developing two major dams to get power from water. These dams would be built somehwere in the northeast part of Kachin City.

The first hydro-power dam would be able to generate some 2000 megawatts. This one would be built on the Maykha River. As per the other dam, it would be creating some 3,600 megawatts of power and it would be located somehwere between the Maykha and Ayeyawady Rivers. According to estimates, these two major hydro-power dams would be generating 5,600 megawatts together. And that would be quite a huge help to people living in those areas.

However, there are still some groups who are going against these plans. Some groups are claiming that the dams would only be destroying the environment in the long run.
