This icWales article talks about a “Supernanny” boom in England, a boom that has yet to cross the boarder into Wales.

A new survey published today suggests shows such as Supernanny, soaring salaries and increased demand has helped fuel a surge in their numbers across the border with the total topping 100,000 in the profession.

The study by sharingcare.co.uk shows that there are now 111,484 nannies in the UK with many enjoying live-out salaries of up to £30,000 a year.

That’s pretty good money, especially if you’re single. I wonder in our friend Jackie is ready to get out of the Midwest, yet?
