Valentine, You DRIVE me Crazy!
If you know AJ, or boys, you know that boys love cars and are not such fans of Valentines day yet.
But, when you put CARS and Sweethearts together you get one love crazed boy!
Family Fun magazine is one of my favorite places to head to when trying to find activities for AJ because I can always find an activity that fits his ability level. No cutting? No problem. No candy? No problem. No matching today? No problem. So, when his teacher said to make it easy, simple, stress free AND fun, BUT hold the candy I had to think of something.
I found this fabulous activity called Wheel Fun at FamilyFun.go.
We amended it to include a Hot Wheel instead (only 8 kids in his class and no candy allowed), I drew the lines in pencil and he will trace them, and he will sign his own name.

1. Cover your work area with newspaper. Use the pencil and the ruler to divide the card stock into 4 equal sections.
2. Pour some black paint onto the paper plate. Drive the toy truck through the paint a few times to coat the wheels well.
3. Roll the truck over the card stock to make tracks, taking care to leave some room in each section for a message.
4. Let the paint dry, then cut the card stock into 4 pieces and use the marker to write a note on each one.
5. Attach the chocolate cars with the double-sided tape.
