Vegetables in Season for Spring

Buying vegetables in season not only gives you a fresher product, but saves you money, too. Spring brings a whole new bounty of fresh vegetables, including my favorite–asparagus. Below are just some of the vegetables to look for in your local (preferably farmers) market this season:

• Asparagus
• Beets
• Fava beans
• Green peas
• Kale
• Leaf Lettuces
• Radishes
• Ramps
• Snow peas
• Spinach
• Swiss Chard
• Sweet onions
