Vegetarian Carnival for September 24th, 2007
Welcome to today’s edition of the vegetarian carnival. As always, it’s a interesting group of posts I have to present today. Let’s start with the recipes…
Fall is the season for soup! Joel Fuhrman, MD, presents some seasonal soup recipes in Superior Seasonal Servings posted at Disease Proof, while Lisa brings us Orange and Beet Soup posted at Lisa’s Vegetarian Kitchen. And Suzanne offers up a recipe for Cream of Tomato Soup at adventures in daily living.
At Frugal Journey, Annette Berlin presents 5 Easy Whole-Meal Sandwiches describing sandwiches as “our version of convenience food.” At Country Kitchen Pantry, Linda Martin presents Lentil Tacos – Tortillas Made From Rice Flour.
Jackie cooks up some Spaghetti surprise over at Kids Dish, and Isil Simsek presents Red Camargue Rice with veggies posted at Veggie Way.
Moving from recipes to dining out, Elaine Vigneault tells us about a new vegan restaurant in NYC in Zen Palate: Vegetarian Food.
At Quietly Into the Night, Lucynda Riley tells us about her first Experience with Tofu. Lori presents Vegan in the Social Sphere posted at The New Vegan, her blog about (you guessed it) being a new vegan.
ConfessMail presents I tell everyone I’m a vegetarian, but… with the following comment: “I’m sure that this submission is a bit different than most you receive. This is a person that has made an anonymous confession and therefore is struggling with the fact as it is a secret that he/she keeps. Any advice from vegetarians on what they feel would be appropriate action to solve this issue would be welcome…”
dhammacrystal presents tips for eating a balanced vegetarian diet at aimsoflife.com. You can read about acidic blood in Your Blood is Boiling Over posted at Wisdom From Wenchypoo’s Mental Wastebasket. Carole Fogarty talks about designing your own health and well being affirmation at The Healthy Living Lounge.
So there you have it. Thanks to everyone who participated! You can submit your blog article to the next edition of the vegetarian carnival using our carnival submission form. And as always, contact me if you’re interested in hosting a future edition of the carnival at your blog.

Great carnival – thx!
