vegcarnivallogocopy-1.jpgWelcome to the 9th edition of the vegetarian carnival. This week’s theme seems to be delicious international recipes. I can’t wait to give some of them a try…

To start with, Expat Chef makes my mouth water with Spinach Sauteed in Butter and Parmesan at The Expatriate’s Kitchen.

In the mood for dessert? Jackie presents some delicious-looking Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies at Kids Dish, while Stephanie presents Civil War Fruit Cake at Stop the Ride! (do you think it tastes like it was made during the Civil War? :) .

Indian cuisine has so much to offer vegetarians, and this week’s carnival has some delicious recipes for you. Lisa presents Eggs Vindaloo at Lisa’s Vegetarian Kitchen, while Curry presents Indian Whole Wheat Flat Bread( Chapathi / Roti ) over at Curry In Kadai.

Joel Fuhrman, MD, features a variety of recipes in Worldly Vegetarian Creations at Disease Proof. Suzanne presents yummus yummus: hummus at adventures in daily living.

There were a couple excellent non-recipe submissions this month, too. At We The Change, Todd Goldfarb presents The 5 Greatest Foods For Your Health. Now eat your kelp! At The Diet Dish, Tara Gidus presents some fun cherry facts in Cheers to Cherries.

Kevin Fleming tells us about the new Wellness Channel on Dish Network at Satellite TV Guru. Do you think there will be any vegetarian shows? Stanimir Sotirov tells us why he thinks it’s better to drink your veggies than eat in Juicy Power posted at All About Your Body And Spirit. Doris Chua celebrates Yummy Mangoes at Organics & Your Health.

And there you have it for this carnival – thanks for all the great entries! The next edition will be hosted by Jackie at Kids Dish in two weeks. Submit your blog post for the next edition of the vegetarian carnival using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page. And as always, contact me (jul at b5media dot com) if you are interested in hosting a future edition of the carnival on your blog.
