Vegetarian New York City: Vatan

vatan

I didn’t get a chance to go there on this trip, but another of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in NYC is Vatan, an Indian restaurant in midtown.

The food is all-you-can-eat, but not buffet-style. Each person is brought a little taste of each and every item on the menu, and you are free to request more of any dish you like. I love getting to have so much variety at one meal, especially when it’s all delicious vegetarian Indian food.

The interior is fun and different, too (see their website for some photos). Vatan is only open for dinner, and reservations are recommended.

I agree with your review – going to Vatan was a lot of fun! So much vegetarian variety. Went there in June and loved it.
