Vegetarian Singing Star Developing New Perfume

Leona Lewis, British singer and vegetarian, whom I wrote about awhile back, is a busy lady. In addition to developing a line of cosmetics, she is also working on a new perfume.
People.co.uk reports that Lewis confirmed that she is working in partnership with a German beauty brand LR to develop a signature scent.
“I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to work on such an exciting project. I am passionate about what I do and it is important for me to give the best I can to my fans all of the time,” said Lewis.
Lewis is taking keen interest at every level of perfume making, starting from choosing the scent’s notes to working on the design of the bottle and packaging. The fragrance is slated to launch in Europe and Asia in the summer of 2009.
I’m curious to see what Leona Lewis comes up with. I write about perfumes for another blog and many of those celebrity scents end up smelling very similar. I hope that she comes up with something unique.

I looked up more information last night and it’s going to be self-titled, so possibly Leona Lewis or Leona Lewis Perfume or…… the Leona Lewis Fragrance. I will write more about it when I learn more.

She won the UK version of Idol.

Good stuff. It reminds me of the Jerry McGuire movie where Tom Cruise (Jerry) has a Did you know…duel with the little 7 year old kid. Did you see this movie? If so you know exactly what i’m talking about. If not, then you will have no idea what i’m referring to.
