Very telling and unhelpful all at once
I’m a little stymied about what to write today, so I asked my husband for some ideas.
Me: “Help me think of something to write about being a working parent or about work-life balance.”
Him: “OK, hmm…”
Me: “What kinds of things do dads talk about?”
Him: “Are you serious?”
That’s just what my husband would say too! Lol! I have to be honest though when I pushed him a little more for an answer he sat down and compiled a list with me but I you wouldn’t be able to use any of them!
It is true (sad), but outside of the blogosphere, I can count on one hand (with fingers to spare) men that I can and have talked to about family life, and balance, etc.
