		<description>In our first home, I did plant an extensive  vegetable garden for economic reasons. Though I didn&#039;t call it a victory garden, it did make me feel a bit victorious to put fresh-from-the-garden produce on my family&#039;s table. I&#039;m glad people are returning to some of the values of our fore bearers.

Thanks for the nudge Mary Emma. I think I will add some veggies to my garden next season. Right now I just have herbs and a few fruit trees.</description>
