Visiting a Museum Can Make You Grateful!

I visited the Steppingstone Museum the other day and got to see all of the “conveniences” of the past. Yes, folks, this modern invention will change the life of the busy housewife. She can churn that butter in just a few hours! So, seeing all of these relics of the past, the general store set up with its tiny inventory and the spinning wheel and loom where they made their own cloth made me so greatful for all the things I take for granted every day.

Ever since I visited the museum, I’ve been stopping to appreciate my tub of butter substitute, my washing machine and even the grocery store!

Have you ever had a moment that made you appreciate all the things we have in our homes today?
