Part of travel means finding yourself inside exotic restrooms. Well, maybe not always. However, isn’t it fun to find a restroom so beautiful you want to take a photo of it?
America’s Best Restroom Award, sponsored by Cintas Corporation, honors the very best restrooms around. And it’s people like you who decide the winner and nominate candidates. To vote in this year’s contest, visit bestrestroom.com before July 31.
Before voting, you’ll have the chance to view three photos of each of the 10 nominees for 2009, as well as read a description of each gorgeous restroom.

One of the nominees, pictured in this post, is Shoji Tabuchi Theatre in Branson, Missouri. The ladies restroom features a ceiling reproduced from the 1890s Empire Period, as well as stained glass and live cut orchids. The lounge for gentlemen goes all out with a billiards room. The restroom area brags lion head sinks and black leather chairs.

Other nominated restrooms include Radio City Music Hall in New York City, The Tampa Theatre in Tampa and The Drake Hotel in Chicago, among several others.
Which lavish restroom is your favorite?
