Waiting For Electric Mini Cooper

I am totally interested to see just how the new electric Mini Cooper is going to be accepted and welcomed by the auto society. After all, this vehicle was not designed to come as an electric version by its creator – it was the partnership of Hybrid Technologies and NASA that made this vehicle possible.
How good would this vehicle be? AutoBlogGreen says: “Hybrid Technologies, the company that is converting the Mini Coopers, built in England, to EVs, says the cars will go up to 80 mph (128 Km/H), do 0-60 in a quick six seconds and have a range of 120 miles/190 km per charge. The conversions are now taking place at Hybrid Technologies Mooresville, North Carolina plant.”
Anyhow, we all would have to wait for this vehicle, especially if you would like to own it. But James Blunt (yes, the singer) has been the lucky one for he already owns one of these and he received it just last May.

Oh my! The Mini is by far my favorite car, I hope to own one someday. So the fact they are going electric just makes me like it all the more. My favorite car + environmentally friendly, I can’t go wrong with that!
Now for the two wheel version –
