After 2 long days of traveling we made it to Texas safe and sound. Hallelujah!
I’ve been spending all day unpacking and trying to get things organized. So far, I have all of our clothes into the closets so that when we wake up in the morning, we have something to wear. I have most of the kids toys and movies organized so that they can find them and now I plan on attacking my office so I can get back to work!
I hated not being able to post on Declutter It! for the last few days. I have some good articles in mind and also plan on getting back to a posting schedule.
If you have any organizing questions please send them in. I received a few over the last few days, so I will answer those soon.
Well, back to unpacking….oh joy!

Will definitely be taking notes. On Friday, we find out if we are being transferred… to another country. Life is going to get interesting and I have my work cut out for me if we have to move!
Another country!? Oh my….we were transfered to Alaska and that felt like such a huge move. It is exhausting to move in so many ways, emotionally, physicallty…. Some good friends of mine just moved to germany. Once they got all moved in and settled life has been really fun and they are loving it.
Good luck!
Yeah! You’re back in Texas. Does it feel good to be home again?
Since you’ve just moved, I would love to see any tips on unpacking and organizing yourself into the new home. We are moving in September, and any ideas are greatly appreciated. the #1 I have thought of so far is – leave all the crap behind!
@Angela – yes, glad to be back but having a really hard time recuperating and finding my energy. i’m starting to feel like my old self again.
@Dorio – I just wrote down to write about unpacking and organizing yourself in a new home on my blog. I’ll get to it soon. Thanks for the idea!
