Weary Parent Weekend Reading Assignment
There have been so many good reads I have found this week, I just can’t keep them all to myself! These are all tidbits of info, stories, posts, and such that I know you will all find helpful or will be able to relate to. Get comfortable and go do your assignment.
- Thrifty Mommy has 10 Great Ways to Teach Your Children About Money.
- Dr. Susan Rubin shares her tale of being stuck in the fast food lane.
- On a similar note, check at my post at Raising a Healthy Family for 10 Ways to Boost Your Child’s Immune System.
- I really like Dr. Gwenn’s commentary on Teen Star Gazing and what you and your kids need to know.
- More4Kids has some timely advice for improving the relationship between you and your teen.
- LoveShakBaby is dealing with teen issues these days too! She has two great reads this week – Go Ahead and Invade Your Kid’s Privacy and a recap of her New Year’s Eve and hormone hyped teens.
Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the link love!
The link to building a relationship with your teen really sparked my attention. Stephanie had a wonderful list of ideas including, “remain objective, reserving judgment.” What great advice for parents entering this age. I blogged about it as well as your list. Thanks for continuing to move us all forward. The weekend reading assignment idea is great, particularly for parents who are always on the prowl for something to deepen their knowledge bank.
Enjoy the week ahead.
