Week #14 Weigh In

Last week was actually pretty good. I started my week with a fast on Monday. I did this for several reasons, the main one having nothing to do with losing weight. But fasting helped me put a lot of things back into perspective. I’m even thinking it might not be such a bad idea to do a fast periodically.

Tuesday I ate very light, ending the day with three leftover Points, which is very good for me. Normally I eat all my Points and then some. Wednesday we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese, which had me a little nervous because I love pizza. I made myself proud though, when I opted for a salad with one slice of pepperoni pizza and about three bites of a slice of cheese pizza. Again…not bad!

The rest of the week went fairly well. Friday was my worst day. I am pretty sure that’s because I babysat. By the end of the (long) day, I was tired and I compensated for that by eating quite a bit of supper. On top of it, I ate supper late.

Otherwise, it was a great week. I feel like I’m back on track again. The thing is, I am smart enough to know that just because I feel great right now, that doesn’t mean I won’t slip and fall again. But the next time I do, I must remember to give myself a quick pep talk so I don’t stay down.
