Weekend Jaunt Around the Channel

It’s time for our weekly jaunt around the channel. Sorry we missed last week, I ended up with the flu and then there were the network issues. I think we’re back on track now, though!!!! Here goes:

Oh wow…..I really want to try this!!! I used the store sample sugar scrub years ago and LOVED the way it made my skin feel! I still haven’t been able to bring myself to spend all the money on a tub for myself, though. And now I can try it at home! So exciting. And I’m sure you could make it with some masculine smells, too. :) Thanks, Jennifer, you tree hugger, you! ;)

I think I’ve made it clear that I am not the best housekeeper, and I take all the help I can get! This post at Keeping the Castle provided me with a few more ideas to keep in mind. I also learned a cooking tip tonight from a friend. Did you know that putting just a little oil in a pot of cooking spaghetti will keep it from boiling over? I had no idea!!!

Some fun Valentine quotes over at Play Library! I think I have an answer for the first quote: “Because lust is not?” :P

Gotta get those scrub ingredients. What a great way to start off Valentine’s week! :P

  1. Jennifer says:

Thanks for the link love! Lavender is actually spicy enough for males; cedar, cypress, lime, or amber are good male scents too - when it comes to essential oils.

  2. Kerri says:

Jennifer: Yeah, Bald Man actually really likes the smell of lavender, and I’ve always thought it smelled a little masculine. :P Cedar would be good, too, and such a good name. ;)
