Weight Loss Tip of the Week

Berries
Are you as sad as I am that some of our favorite fruits and veggies won’t be around until next year? I’m revisiting one of my favorite diet tricks where I snap up frozen fruits (preferably organic) and start mixing things up in a blender. If you’re stuck in a rut, grab a handful of frozen berries, cold spring water, and add a splash of 1% milk for a great shake blended to taste.

If you want to avoid using sugar, I recommend that you stock up on frozen mango, which tastes best au natural!

Love to use frozen fruit for a smoothie. I like to mix in a little whey protein as well. And sometimes maybe a little natural peanut butter. Yum.

ha- one of my first jobs was at Jamba Juice, and I used to take medium sized cups of frozen mangoes at the end of my shift, wait for them to defrost a bit and just eat them. SO GOOD.
