What Breed Is That?

This breed from China begins life as a very wrinkly puppy, but actually smooths out the older it gets. They’re also considered one of the rarest dog breeds in the world and weren’t even recognized by the AKC until 1991!

Shar pei? Is that right? There is a couple down the street from my school that has a brindle one.
Looks like a Shar Pei to me. I didn’t know they were one of the rarest dog breeds. Seems like there’s got to be some that are rarer…you know, like ones I haven’t heard of. :p
