What Gets You Motivated?

Getting ready for my wedding in September has motivated me to get in better shape and look my best. The motivators for weight loss are endless and vary from person to person. Some popular ones are -
-Trying on clothes that no longer fit you
-Seeing a loved one get in shape
-The approach of a new year
-A milestone such as turning 40
-Feeling tired and sluggish
-A health scare
For me, writing this blog is endlessly motivating because I want to practice what I preach.

Seeing old pictures of myself!! I used to play varsity basketball and holy man was I lean and mean….makes me want to look like that again.
I’m all puff-ball now. I need my scary coach back to yell at me!
Seeing old pictures is a big one! Especially when you used to play a sport…reminds me of seeing pictures of myself when I ran track in high school. Thanks for commenting
