What is pancreatic cancer?

Pancreatic cancer has been in the news for the past week because of the announcement that Patrick Swayze has it. It’s one of the lesser known cancers, but it’s also one of the most fatal.

Pancreatic cancer is very difficult to treat because it’s a cancer that is found after it’s progressed quite a bit. It’s one of the cancers that don’t show any signs or symptoms until it’s almost too late to treat. However, that doesn’t mean that it’s not treatable.
