what my studio floor looks like…

I’ve got several events this summer that I need to look a little dressier than my normal studio attire of blue jeans.  My brother is getting married in a couple of weeks, so I need a new outfit for his fiancee’s bridal shower, and then an outfit for the wedding itself.

I also want to make my future sister-in-law a set of monogrammed & embroidered napkins & a matching table runner.

Ooh, I also volunteered to make their guestbook (cream silk & our clan tartan, if you were curious)

And then…

I’m getting married later this summer.

So I need to make a new outfit for my shower… and then sew my bridal gown – oh, and make the shawls for my bridesmaids too!

And I also have to make my very patient fiance his overdue Christmas shirt (bad Chloe!)

The heap of fabric you see is stuff I just today bought, finished the edges and washed.  I think I need to get off the computer and back to sewing!
