How about spending a session in the kitchen whipping up some Once a Month Cooking (OAMC) meals to take you through the busy days ahead? Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to reach into the freezer and just pull out a meal that you’ll thaw and heat at the end of a busy day? Click on the link above to see how the basics of OAMC work, and try some of the recipes below, which are specially designed to freeze well. Split Pea Soup with Turkey – uses smoked turkey, but is delicious with plain turkey too
Baked Jambalaya – add turkey to the sausage and ham, or substitute some of it
Black Bean Soup – a vegan recipe with an optional poultry addition
