What Your Workout Program MIGHT Be Missing…

If you’re trying to be consistent with a daily fitness program, and you’re not seeing results, maybe you’re missing one of the important aspects. Your exercise program should contain three components:

  1. Warm-up/ Cool-down Stretching
  2. Aerobic  — something to get your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes
  3. Resistance Training (Weights)

The reason why I sound like such a know-it-all today is because I just watched a video on it, which you can watch here as well. I agree. It’s tempting to skip one of these parts — like walk/jog, but never lift weights. Well, that’s so 80ish. We’ve learned way more than we used to about the body — and we gotta lift weights or we’re going to have brittle bones someday. Go for the muscle. It looks good.
