What’s Offbeat Around the Channel?

I don’t know – maybe there’s nothing offbeat around the channel. Maybe I stand alone in weirdness. However, one, I doubt that. I have met the other channel bloggers around here. And two, I’m feeling like some stress reduction blog surfing so we should open another browser and go find out.

• From Keeping the Castle: One Bookcase, Four Unique Spaces, which frankly is not insane wacky, but it is unique and home-friendly. Offbeat readers will enjoy a splash of home-friendly mixed with creativity.

• Over at All Holiday Cafe, you can celebrate the birthday of one particular king of offbeat.

• The Food Bowl has cat wigs – I’m not making this up. Visit at your own weird risk. Speaking of weird cats this might be a good time to mention that Heather, pet-loving blogger girl of said Food Bowl, has a new blog. The blog is Macro Cats and I suppose you just have to see it. It was kooky enough to make me go hmmm though; so two thumbs up!

• Supernanny Rules has a new co-blogger, Kadi Prescott. I suggest you head over and welcome her. There’s a big something or other going on over there with Kadi. That’s odd enough. However, what’s the most offbeat is that she’s got seven (SEVEN) kids. Seven is a lot. Seven is possibly crazy offbeat mayhem and loony stories. Go say hello.

• Haven’t you always wondered how you can make wacky balloon animals? I know I have. Thanks goodness that Play Library has the 411.

• Man Buys Truck with Spare Change: It’s both weird and true news from Simply Thrifty. What’s even better is that this could be you.
