When Do You Organize Your Quilting Room?

Quilting Room
What does your quilting room look like? Is it a family project room? A room of accumulation? One that needs organizing occasionally?
I acquire all sorts of stuff and projects in our office, my project room, and our bedroom. My daughter does the same in the end of the living room that’s her quilting space. I’ve also had to clean out relatives’ homes and wondered what to do with the memorabilia. Much of it became piles in my home…and I’m still sorting!
Jean Murry, of Home Biz Notes, who also is an avid quilter, suggested I visit Jill’s blog and read Found the Floor in My Sewing Room. Complete with photos, this post of Jill’s reveals progress as she organizes her sewing room, finds the floor, discovers projects and patches, and makes way for her family to gather during the holidays.
Does your sewing room become a place where families work on projects together, even play if there’s a pool table as in Jill’s, when they come from far and near to celebrate the holiday season?
Thanks for sharing, Jill. Also, thank you, Jean, for calling my attention to Jill’s blog.
Do any of my other readers have their own blogs or ones they visit to share with us? How are you preparing for the holiday season?

Jill has inspired me to clean out my quilting area – kind of. I can’t bear to put away the fabrics – I get inspired and motivated looking at them. Why bother to buy them if you just put them away somewhere?
