When Life Provides Inspiration for Quilting

We’ve been watching a pair of nuthatches build a nest and hatch a batch of babies.  We haven’t seen the babies yet, but we can hear them when Papa and Momma Nuthatch bring the food.  Their birdhouse hangs in a tree not far from our deck.

So today, Beth took photos of the parents as they arrived at the house to feed the babies.

I imagine Beth soon will be creating a quilt or fabric art design inspired by this bird family.

What inspiration do you find for your quilting in the world around you?  Do you post photos on your blog that inspire you?
