I've always wondered when it goes from "hanging out" to "dating casually." I have decided after about 3 dates ( a week) of hanging out quite a bit. Once you kinda get to know them you can say your "dating." But the whole gf/bf thing I think happens when you start dating exclusively and both of you agree to be exclusive that may be a month or 6 it just depends on the two people i hope this helps.
