Where Do You Stand Sarah?

September 4, 2008 by Tracee Sioux

At her Republican National Convention Speech she declared herself a typical “hockey mom,”

“What’s the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull?”

“Lipstick.”

Okay. But where does she stand on POLICY that effects mothers?

It’s a fair question.

What exactly does she mean by “promising to advocate for special needs kids?”

Yeah, don’t special needs kids need health insurance most of all? Aren’t they the very ones who can’t get a private policy? What about the mom of a special needs kid who can’t work full-time because she’s taking care of her kid? What about the families who are bankrupted paying health care for their special needs kid?

  2. Tracee Sioux says:

well, that’s what I always thought special needs kids would need most of all. But, maybe their mothers just need to work harder not to lose their corporate jobs so they keep their health insurance.

  3. Violet says:

According to this, Palin actually slashed funding for schools for special needs kids by 62%.

I don’t know what church Palin and McCain go to, but LYING is a sin in every one I’ve ever been in.
