Which Presidential Candidate Agrees w/ You?

My sister sent me this Presidential Candidate Survey. You go through all the hot topics of the day and you tell the survey what YOU care about.
You get to answer yes, no or unsure. While I consider myself reasonably informed there were a few things I had to answer unsure on because I don’t even know what the issue is about.
Take Internet Neutrality, I’m not even sure what the issue is. Does someone want to own it or tax it or what? Who is neutral and who is not?
You also get to pick whether it’s of high, medium or low importance. I only picked high on a few issues of great importance to me.
So who should I vote for? Drums please . . .
Former Alaska Senator Mike Gravel (D) matches my opinions at 94%.
It’s an interesting tool for several reasons. It might make you think about how important an issue is to you. It might make you reconsider whether you think something is the most or least important. It might make you look up what an issue is about.
I might look up Internet Neutrality to find out who is trying to do what and how that is going to effect me.
It might turn out to be as valuable as a Gallup Poll. While the subjects are no where near controlled or equal it does tell us where fellow American’s stand. Who is winning people’s hearts and minds?
I got the poll from my sister in Utah, so it’s probably been around some conservative circles but, so far 58.8% have answer with Republican responses. That means it’s close people, take another go round after having appeared on Blog Fabulous and who knows what it will say.
Abortion, according to the poll, is the second most important issue, next to Iraq. No surprise about Iraq, but I had thought health care would outrank abortion this year. I mean, abortion truly effects the lives of few people while heath care deeply effects every single citizen.
I think it will be interesting to see if a poll like this might turn out to be as accurate as those polls we pay millions and millions of dollars for. I think I’ll bookmark it and keep watching it.
Yeah, I got Mike Gravel too. (Who the hell is he?). Hillary was the top all-star candidate, but I only agreed with her 42.11%! This was interesting, but I think it is a little skewed because there were many subjects that I couldn’t really say a firm yes or no about. Like I think we need health care system changes, but universal health care could mean a lot of different things.
